Permanent exhibitors need prior approval from Dallas Market Center Operations for contractors to be admitted to campus buildings for any construction/alterations to showrooms.
All showroom construction/alterations must be approved by DMC Operations, accompanied by an issued permit prior to work beginning. Please call (214) 879-8134 for plan/permit approval.

Levy Restaurants is Dallas Market Center's exclusive, in-house food service provider. All onsite food service/catering must be done with either Levy or a DMC-approved caterer. Levy offers catering options to accommodate any size group - large or small.
Dallas Market Center has agreements with local catering companies to sell and deliver food & beverage items to showrooms on campus. These caterers are authorized to service permanent showrooms or temporary exhibitors only; they are not authorized in public areas on campus.
Exhibitors may personally bring items into their showrooms; only approved caterers are allowed access to the loading dock to bring food, beverage, or equipment into the buildings.

Inside Deliveries
When a delivery arrives at Dallas Market Center marked “Inside Delivery,” Dock Services reviews all paperwork/bill of ladings, and helps facilitate final destination of products for each tenant and showroom. Dock Services personnel work with delivery drivers to ensure building access, provide pallet jacks/forklifts, and ensure product delivery to the proper showroom. This service is provided free of charge for all tenants.
While Dallas Market Center is not responsible for delivery, accuracy, or quality of delivery service when marked “Inside Delivery,” Dock Services does provide the necessary equipment to the shipping provider to help facilitate delivery, at no charge.

“Inside Delivery” means delivery is to the showroom, not inside the showroom, unless the tenant is present and authorizes access to that showroom.
Inside Delivery dictates the shipping entity will deliver products and merchandise to a respective showroom. This is an arrangement made between the shipper and showroom.
Deliveries Not Marked “Inside Delivery”
When a delivery is not marked “Inside Delivery”, Dock Services calls the showroom to determine delivery to the showroom.
If a tenant authorizes Dock Services to deliver, Dallas Market Center unloads the trucks and is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the delivery. Dock Services signs all bill of ladings confirming receipt of the delivery and accounts for the time and labor spent delivering items. Dock Services charges for these services.

Red Caps are also available to take product to showrooms. Red Caps are independent contractors who are not employed by Dallas Market Center, but provide services as contractors for tenants and buyers. Charges will apply.

The Protective Services department at the Dallas Market Center is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all visitors, exhibitors, and staff. With a team of highly trained professionals, they provide 24/7 surveillance, emergency response, and support services to maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the entire marketplace.
Protective Services also provides: medical assistance, vehicle escorts, delivery of showroom keys to authorized personnel, vehicle assistance for dead batteries, photo ID & access cards, and traffic control/parking enforcement.
